Background
Hello out there! My name is Nicola Carey, and I have been a cook, baker, caterer, and private chef for over ten years. As a Bay Area native, I grew up going to farmers markets on the weekend, learning what grows best in what season, and how to find joy in every part of the cooking process.
Experience
My work as a private chef is the culmination of years working at Michelin-starred restaurants and high end bakeries alike; I’ve always felt that the more I learned, the more I could provide to others. Along the way, I’ve spent quite a bit of time learning to create alternatives that accommodate anyone who has food allergies, restrictions, and aversions. Be it fine dining or comfort food, I want every experience to feel inclusive and available.
